Family was very important to Tony. He was the Husband to Barbara Gutierrez and a Father,( to 8 children-Rita, Barbara, Anthony, Michael, Mark, James, Darryl, & Darin) and a step father (to David & Kathy) which gave him a grand total of 10 kids, numerous grand kids, and great grandkids. His siblings were also a source of great joy for him as well.
Tony worked at Timet for over 30+ yrs. Later on, he worked for Ethel M Chocolates after he retired from Timet to give himself some “work time” while still staying at home and caring for his wife.
Tony loved to coach Baseball with his boys, work on cars, and teach the boys the ins and outs of mustangs. He loved to drop a twenty in the slot machines at the Rainbow Club in his spare time. He loved spending time with his great grand kids playing games or allowing them to destroy a house and never wanted them to get in trouble (spankings).
Tony’s last companion outside of his family was his beloved dog Jamez Dean. Tony was sure to spoil this dog rotten every chance he got.
Tony was a proud veteran of the US Army and served his country during the Korean War.
Tony was loved by so many friends, family and Caregivers in the Henderson Community. May he finally rest at peace with his wife. You will be forever loved and missed.
