I am deeply saddened by the passing of Arman, who has been a good husband to my sister Banen, and a good father to my nieces Gwen and Yanna. I was constantly praying for your recovery and am looking forward for your vacation here. But the Lord has another plan for you and that is to be with Him forever in paradise where there is no more pain and suffering.

To my sister Banen, Ne now is the time to have courage for you and your daughters. Rest assured that I will always be here for you. 

To Gwen and Yanna, always remember that your Mama Gingging loves you and will forever protect you. Even though your daddy Arman is in heaven now, you will always have Tatay Isong, Daddy Sonny, Papa Datu, Tito Nono, Manong Tata, and Kuya Cj whom you can rely on.

Arman was very close to his family, relatives and friends. He was my little brother who was kind, sweet, and loving, he was full of life and full of adventure. He was fond of eating delicious food like goats, fish, seafood and soup and loved to cook just like me.  When I talked to him, he had lots of jokes and stories to tell me that will make Elaine (my wife) and I laughed. We had so many good memories together as we both joined the Air Force and served our country. I remember in the 70s when we were both in Vietnam war, I was a gunner and he worked as the air ground equipment mechanic, he will listened to his commander’s update news as he worried about me getting shut down. We fought hard in this war and we won. While serving the military we had so much in common, we both like wine, women and song (smile). He had always reached out to me and we communicated all the time with our status and we helped each other until now that we are old. When I heard that he was diagnosed with cancer, I was broken hearted, it was a different battle that he had to go through. I told him to keep “fighting and win” just like in the Air Force. I don’t know how much time he had to live so I asked my brother Vir to fly and visit him last year. I was glad that Elaine and Shonie (Vir’s wife) joined us to have a reunion twice last year. But now, I am happy that he is in heaven with the Lord, that all his pains and suffering were now gone… I love you my brother Arman, I know that you are watching over me, I hope that you know that those memories we made, I will always cherish… YOU are forever in my heart, until we meet again...

Dad was the best in the world. He would answer my questions and help me when I  need help. Dad loved mom forever and for infinity. I would help dad whenever mom is gone or sick. He'd cook food and me and my sister would love it. Me, mom, and my sister cherish my dad. My dad would tell me storys at 1 or 2 am so I can sleep. One story my dad told me when mom and him were going to meet moms relatives/ family. He fell in the water and got wet. That made me laugh. I would not let my mom get another husband. I will promise dad to take care of mom and my sister. -Love, Yanna.

My dearest Kuya Manding, my love for you is a journey with a lifetime of fond memories. Although our journey thru life may have taken us apart, it doesn't matter because as neither distance nor time will dull the bond which is between us. It is forever and never ending.  We are like branches of a tree that grow in different directions, but our roots remain as one, so each of our lives will always be a special part of the other. We are never really apart, maybe in distance, but not from our hearts. This is another journey, and until we meet again my dear brother, you will never be forgotten,  we will think and talk of you always, and we will hold you in our hearts forever because we love you. 

I  still remember our last Poker game with my cousins, you were the dealer, we didn't have real money to bet with but everyone was so serious as if their life depended on that game, just because you dealt so well - Vegas style as you would say. 

I will forever cherish our memory together specially when we spent lots of nights together in Makati and around Metro Manila, we would go clubbing, casino then of course the gentleman's clubs till the wee hours of the morning. Sleep in till afternoon then do it all over again! That was the best summer for me whilst you were here. My mom would allow me to go out and didn't have to call and check on me just because I was with you. Little did she know I was the one influencing you back then hahaha 

Last time I saw you when you had your last child going back to the states. I missed you then Unc, missing you till now. My heart breaks that I can't come see you, buy I will as soon as possible. I know you are in a better place now, you will be forever part of my life, in memory and in spirit. I love you Unc! May you rest in peace.

This message may help us celebrate Tito Arman's life and share our grief at his passing.
When we ponder about death we feel anxious, and that anxiety takes over our mind and body. The truth is pondering about death leads you to enlightenment. It makes us realize that we are all finite beings and our life in this world is temporary, at any point in time all of us will eventually die. Because death is inevitable.
Tito Arman was full of principles in life. He was a man full of wisdom and etiquette. He was a very optimistic man and he would give me scholarly advices that will be forever cherished. I remember how much he loved being in the Philippines, he would talk non-stop about how moral and unique the Filipinos are. Of course, he would also talk non-stop about how delightful our foods are. The Filipino foods that made him stay in a room for days with an upset stomach. The reason why I met him was because he caught the heart of a Filipina, Tita Banban. One thing that I really respect and admire about Tito Arman was that he really loved the people around him. He really loved Tita Banban, Gwen, Yanna, and he loved us, his relatives as well. We were looking forward for his vacation here in the Philippines. Papa even stashed an ample amount of tea that Tito Arman was looking for and I guess it is now up to me to consume it. We are deeply saddened by the passing of Tito Arman, even the people here in Papasok would like to express their condolences. People would come and express their grief, and there is no doubt that Tito Arman was indeed a great man. Rest assured that Tatay, Papa, Mama, Tito Nono, Tita Lailyn, Kurt, and of course your gwapong pamangkin, Tata will never forget you and will take care your loved ones. Tito Arman you are not only a father, husband, soldier, but you are an ideal man that everybody should look up to. Thank you for everything! Buen viaje pare ko'y! Till we meet again.

We remembered when he stayed with us in Makati during his vacation here in the Phil. and we had fun memories especially my uniko hijo his partner, Giancarlo or Gian or Migs in short. We now know that you are at the loving arms of our Creator. Rest in Peace dear Mandy. In our thoughts and hearts you will be missed! We love you...
