Arthur "Artie" Allen Sr., 81, passed away at home with his family at his side on October 16, 2014. He was born on November 14, 1932 in Washington, D.C. He was predeceased by his grandson Ian Allen. He is survived by his loving wife of 62 years Jean Allen of Henderson; brother John Allen of West Virginia; and children Arthur Allen Jr. of Centreville, VA, Linda Allen of Henderson, Joyce Anselmo of Harpers Ferry, WV, Mitchell Allen of Maryland, and Anthony Allen of N. Las Vegas. He also had 5 grandchildren and 8 great-grandchildren. The family is thankful for the wonderful services of the Nathan Adelson Hospice of Las Vegas.
