Barbara May Figueroa passed away Jan. 31, 2012. She was born in Hawaii May 19, 1933 were she raised 16 children. She was preceded in death by her daughters, Diane and Maryann; her sons, David and Gary; and her spouse, George Figueroa. Our mother lived her life trusting in the love of our Lord and giving to those in need, never turning her back on those who asked for help. She is deeply missed by us and survived by so many. Surviving children are Clifford Figueroa, Marie Miller, Arlene Mederios, Leona Faustina, George Figueroa Jr., Donna Schine, Valerie Pu`u, Michael Figueroa, Faith Benge, Damien Figueroa, Thomas Figueroa, Marilyn Stillwell, Paul Figueroa, Peter Figueroa; 35 grandchildren; 52 great-grandchildren; and six great-great-grandchildren. Services will be here in Las Vegas at 10 a.m., Saturday, Feb. 18, in the chapel at St. Peter the Apostle Church, 204 Boulder Highway, Henderson. Burial to follow at Palm Memorial Park, 800 S. Boulder Highway, Henderson.
