Barbara J. Parrish, was born December 2, 1943 to Minnie Lee Parrish and Boise Denmark in Hallandale, Florida. She was one of twenty-one children. Seven brothers and thirteen sisters. Now, eleven remain.
Barbara was married to Samuel Roberts, who preceded her in death. To this union two children were born. She was a Housewife.
She gave her life to Christ at an early age at Friendship Baptist Church in Hallandale, Florida. Barbara graduated from McArthur High School in Hallandale, Fl. Barbara loved to travel, watch her favorite soap operas, Westerns and Football.
Barbara like many of us, don’t always make right decisions. But in her latter years she was grateful to have rekindled a relationship with her daughter who took “excellent” care of her Mother despite their past. Barbara loved her daughter, son in law and grandson whom she loved to spoil. She was a very kindhearted & giving person.
Barbara leaves on this earth to cherish her memory: Her devoted and dedicated, Daughter, Pamela D. Roberts (August Lewis-son in law), grandson, Zail Samuel Lewis and son, Robert Henry. Also, Star, Marylee, Minnie, Dot, Phyllis, Delores, Judy, Eddie, Riley, Robin, Michael and a host of other nieces, nephews, cousins, relatives and friends.
A viewing for Barbara will be held Friday, November 8, 2019 from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM at Palm Boulder Highway Mortuary, 800 South Boulder Highway, Henderson, NV 89015. A viewing will occur Saturday, November 9, 2019 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM, 800 South Boulder Highway, Henderson, NV 89015. A celebration of life will occur Saturday, November 9, 2019 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM, 800 South Boulder Highway, Henderson, NV 89015.
