Bill and his ex-wife, Aloma, and young son, Robbie,  lived in a house behind my family’s house in Denver in the 1960’s. Our families became close throughout the years and had many wonderful times together. I fondly remember Bill being brave enough to teach me how to drive a stick shift in his 1955 Chevy. He was a patient teacher because by the end of the day I knew how to drive a stick shift! His prized possession was a 1964 Ford Galaxy. Bill was devoted to his 4 sons, and they were his life.  Once the Hall’s moved to Las Vegas, we didn’t see much of them except for when we were passing through Las Vegas. Bill was always happy to see us and welcome us into the Hall’s home, including insisting that we stay the night at their house.  Bill was a good man, and I feel so blessed to have known him for all of these years. May he Rest In Peace.

I don’t really have one particular favorite memory with my grandpa because I’m thankful and feel blessed for all of the time I did get to spend with him over the years. I only wish that we lived closer and could’ve spent more time with him. I’m grateful that my boys each got to meet and spend time with him, even if they don’t or won’t remember it. He always told amazing stories and was so funny. I’m sure he made me pee my pants from laughing a time or two in my life. We love and miss you so much grandpa! Life just isn’t the same without you in it. I’d give anything for just 5 more minutes and a hug!

When my daughter Rachael found out she was pregnant with her first child, I was furious! I told her that she needed to call my parents and tell them. So she called Dad and told him that she was pregnant and he said, “There must have been something in the air that night”.  She said “What?” and Dad told her “Your legs!”. That is the kind of craziness you could always expect from him. 

There aren't enough words to express how awesome my grandpa was. I will forever cherish each and every memory and moment I was fortunate to get to experience with him..from family reunions in Ponca City growing up, to visiting every year as a child and being shown and taught the coolest things making me think, "Man I have the best grandpa in the world." I wish more than anything my kids, (his great-grandsons) had more time to establish the amazing relationship I was lucky enough to have with him. He doesn't get to see them grow up, but I will always remind them of who he was. I know with time things are said to get easier, but it's still crazy to think you are gone. I love you Grandpa. <3

I’ll always remember going out to Vegas as a kid and getting to do cool stuff we never got to do in Denver. Uncle Bill was always a rockstar haha. I don’t know if it was the boots, the cussing lol, the give no F’s what anybody says/does attitude, or maybe it was just the hair. It was always a good time! I’ll always remember being on the back of the ATV with him driving, and i seen Ciera fall off the dirt bike and that thing was just ripping circles by her head. He was trying to scare me going all fast and I had to kinda hit him to get his attention to Ciera. He saw her and told me “hold on boy!” and hauled balls over to get her some help. We were always welcome with him and aunt Dorothy even tho there was 7 of us. It was always love! To the kids and aunt Dorothy I’m so sorry for your loss! I love you all and miss you all! they don’t make men like him anymore. A real bad ass ! Tell grandpa I love him and miss him! Rest easy Unc!

He truly was one of a kind. A man that growing up was always supportive of me & my dreams & always asked how I was doing. Always making jokes and making me laugh. Treated me like one of his own. He was such a light in my life and everyone else’s life. My heart truly hurts for all of you. My deepest sympathy and condolences to all of you. So much love for all of you. 



Uncle Bill was such a character. He had the best sense of humor (even if it was a little crude). He could be a real pain in the butt, but he had a heart of gold. We are really going to miss the grumpy old man. I love you Bill. You will never be forgotten.
