Charlotte Grace Farrell

Charlotte Grace Farrell, age 88, passed away peacefully surrounded by the love and legacy she created throughout a life well lived. She was born on January 23, 1938, in Pennsylvania to Gerald and Grace McCullough.

At the age of three, Charlotte moved with her family to Southern Nevada, where she spent the next 85 years living in Las Vegas and Henderson—places she proudly called home. Deeply rooted in the community, Charlotte built a life defined by hard work, resilience, and devotion to family.

At 18, she married Morris Edward Bird of Henderson, Nevada, and together they welcomed three children. Throughout her life, Charlotte built a career across several fields, including banking, feed and tack, and real estate, always known for her reliability, dedication, and strong work ethic.

In October of 1979, Charlotte married the love of her life, Marion Lee Farrell. The two were childhood friends who grew up near Fremont Street, and their lifelong bond became a beautiful love story. They shared 47 years of marriage and remained each other’s greatest companions.

Charlotte’s greatest joy in life was her family—especially her children and grandchildren—who were the center of her world. She will be remembered for her warmth, strength, and unwavering love for those closest to her.

She is survived by her husband, Lee Farrell; her children, Brenda (Cesar), Debbie(Richard), and Steven; her grandchildren, Kayley(Austen), Beau(Isabelle), and Kelley; her sisters, Barbara(Ed) and Adah(Dan); and her sister-in-law, June. Stepchildren Nancy, George(Sandy) and James(Paula).
