Dale S. Nizowitz

Dale S. Nizowitz passed away peacefully on July 19, 2026. He was born in Brooklyn, New York, to Philip and Mary Nizowitz.

Dale spent his career working as a mechanic for the New York Transit Authority, a profession that reflected one of his greatest passions: working with his hands and spending time in the garage. Throughout his life, Dale enjoyed working on cars, including restoring his beloved Pontiac Bonneville.

Dale had a deep love of music, especially John Denver, The Righteous Brothers, and Mötley Crüe—music he enjoyed sharing with his sons. He also loved the outdoors, and some of his favorite memories were made during family vacations in the mountains of Colorado.

Dale had a special place in his heart for animals, especially his Golden Retriever, Chuck, and the many other pets that his wife, Linda, brought home over the years.

Dale was married to his beloved wife, Linda Nizowitz, for 48 years. After Linda's passing, Dale met Connie Rice in 2020, and the two instantly connected. They spent the last several years enjoying life together, traveling to California, discovering new restaurants, attending concerts and shows, and creating many special memories. They eventually moved to Boulder City, where they enjoyed a quieter pace of life together.

Dale is survived by his sons, David Nizowitz of Las Vegas, NV, and Joshua Nizowitz and his wife, Heidi, of Las Vegas, NV; his niece, Jamie Carvalho, of New Jersey; great-nephews Ethan and Zachary; great-niece Abigail; sister-in-law, Randi Nizowitz of New Jersey; and cousin, Howard Gold, of Oregon.

He was preceded in death by his beloved wife, Linda Nizowitz; his brother, Paul Nizowitz; and his parents, Philip and Mary Nizowitz.

Dale will be deeply missed and lovingly remembered by his family and all who knew him.

Visitation will be held on July 29, 2026, from 9:00 am to 10:00 am. Funeral services will follow at 11:00 am, both at Palm Henderson Mortuary, 800 South Boulder Highway, Henderson, NV 89015. Dale will be laid to rest in Palm Henderson Cemetery.
