Darla Jean Smith, 78, of Henderson passed away December 31, 2020 in Henderson, Nevada. Darla was born January 21, 1942 in Killeen, Texas. She graduated from UNLV. She married Raymond L. Smith on November 24, 1973.
Darla worked hard to ensure that her home always sparkled while she was raising 5 children. She was the proud wife of an Army Veteran. She enjoyed caring for her lovely doggies. She was a member of Major Pool Leagues.
Darla is proceeded in death by her husband, Raymond L. Smith and her youngest son, Rowdy Ray Smith.
She is survived by her sons; Lucas Perryman, Benjamin Smith, Jerry Perryman and her only daughter, Leisha Marler. She had three granddaughters; Terry, Desiree and Mindy and one grandson; Jayton. She is also survived by her great grandchildren; 9 boys and 7 girls.
She will be laid to rest at the Southern Nevada Veterans Memorial Cemetery in Boulder City on Friday, February 5, 2021. She will join her husband Raymond. They met and instantly fell in love, so as we celebrate her life we smile knowing she and Ray will be comforted with as much love between them as the day they met.
