Debie Odell

Debera Jo Odell was born on March 14, 1955, in sunny San Diego, CA, and passed away on August 2, 2024, in Henderson, NV. She leaves behind a legacy cherished by her beloved husband, Richard Grant Odell, and four adoring daughters: Dena Lambert, Traci Bollinger, Misti Burklan, and Dawn Leffingwel. Her life was enriched by the presence of eight grandchildren: Tyler, Anessa, Eric, Parker, Madison, Morgan, Dacia, and Jeffery, and further brightened by the love of her four great-grandchildren: Olivia, Cody, Nolan, and Rhys.

Debera was a woman of substance, ambition, and compassion. Her entrepreneurial spirit shone through as she owned multiple successful businesses. Not only did she excel in her professional endeavors, but she also dedicated her time and energy to serving her community. Debera's commitment to education led her to serve on the prestigious Clark County School Board, where she made a lasting impact on countless young lives. Additionally, she selflessly devoted years to being the much-revered PTA President, shaping the educational landscape for many.

Beyond her professional and community achievements, Debera was a creative soul with a passion for art. Her talents blossomed through painting and quilting, where she poured her heart into every stroke and stitch. Her artistic endeavors were a testament to her vibrant spirit and boundless creativity.

Debera found solace and joy in the beauty of the ocean and the thrill of travel. These experiences allowed her to connect with the world around her and find inspiration in the vastness of nature. Her love for exploration and adventure mirrored her thirst for life, always seeking new horizons and embracing the unknown with open arms.

A visitation for Debie will be held Thursday, August 15, 2024 from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM at Palm Mortuary - Henderson, 800 South Boulder Highway, Henderson, NV 89015. Funeral Services will be Friday, August 16, 2024 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, 801 Arrowhead Trail, Henderson, NV 89002. Debie will be laid to rest at 12:00 PM at Palm Henderson Cemetery, 800 S Boulder Highway, Henderson, NV 89015.
