Class  of ‘73 Reunion photo I found on Richards phone, 

 Forever in my heart, 

I met Denny when I was a foreman at Titanium Metals.   He was a mag handler on my shift.  He was a hard worker and a great guy.  Later on he took a trip to Hawaii thinking he was going to make a life there. He was back in the states in a couple of months. He called me late one night from the airport and said he was back and needed a place to crash for a couple of days. Came over to my house and slept on the floor in the living room. 
After he settled in for awhile I ran into him again and he told me he had gotten married to his beautiful wife Diana and needed a place to stay for a few days. He was there for awhile and got his own place. He had a parrot named Herkie bird and taught him to talk. Many years later I bought a diamond from him when he owned the jewelry store in Henderson. 
Sadly I lost contact with him.
Tried finding him recently and found that he had passed away 🙁.  Bummer 😞. My condolences to Diana and his family. 

Denny, my friend,  you have left us way too soon. Even though we'd run into each other only once in a while, at a class reunion, picking up Carl's Jr., family weddings etc., it was always as though no time had passed. You always made me feel like you were happy to see me and greeted me with your great smile (hard to see sometimes through the beard! :) and of course the warm hug.  May you rest in peace, Denny Sloan! Watch over us and hold down that fort! Until we meet again. Much love, Anita

Denny enjoy your celestial journey. We will all be joining you someday. In the meantime you will be missed on this earth and there will be a big void in the Penta family. Your imprint and legacy within Penta will never be forgotten.

Dennis will be so missed!  He was always so helpful and kind.  My thoughts and prayers are with his loved ones and the rest of the PENTA family.

When we were growing up, we had one Jr. High and one High school. Everybody in town went to those unless they went to private school. We all grew up together. Everyone we grew up with had some impact on our formative years. Each one we lost is another piece of our foundation being chipped away. We miss every one of those that we have lost.

Denny you will be missed! I’ve known Denny since I was 12 , he’s the reason I love the Pittsburgh Steelers , Pink Floyd and joe Walsh .  He bought me Most  of my first records . He was there with a smile and always a little glint in his eye! A kindred spirit , liked to have a good time and spoke his mind. always had a welcoming bellow when I would visit with  a big smile and a “ trrrriiiiissssshhhhhh” how the hell are you?? cheers!!!  Denny  and see you on the other side!
