

Born August 15, 1941, in Camden, AR where she lived in Louann, AR to the age of eighteen, then moving with her family to Las Vegas, NV.
Dora enjoyed traveling all over the world, after a cruise in Europe she had planned another trip next year. She loved studying, learning new thing and her love of cooking. So she enrolled in the Le Cordon Bleu Cooking School, and she was very proud to receive her degree upon graduation. She loved her gourmet cooking.
Dora is preceded in death by her mother, Louise Horan, and a brother, W.C. “Dub” Bowen, Jr.
She is survived by her sister, Vicki Smith of Las Vegas, NV, and an aunt, Neva Harwell of Little Rock, AR, two nephews, Marvin and Steven Smith of Las Vegas, NV.
Dora is also survived by one grandnephew, Matthew Smith, grandnieces, Caitlin and Ciera Smith, and a great grandnephew, Theodore “Teddy” Smith.
The family is very grateful to Yolanda Bolanos for the help given to Dora this past year.
