Dorothy Robles: Daughter, Sister, Wife, Mother, Grandmother, Great Grandmother, and Great-Great Grandmother passed away on April 7, 2018, at the age of 88. She was born May 5, 1929 in Fresno, California to Cecil and Consuelo Velasquez.
Dorothy had been a resident of Susanville, California or Lassen County for more than seventy years coming with her family. She married Martin Robles in 1949 and raised four children: Marty (Joleen), Robert (Elaine), Fred (Nicky), and Cammy (Tom Voss).
Dorothy received a Recognition of Excellence from the Susanville School District for working over 15 years with Outstanding Service in 1998. She enjoyed making afghans for all family members and friends. She was known for the best homemade tortillas by all. She & her husband moved to Henderson to be with their daughter & son in-law in September of 2015.
Dorothy is survived by her husband and four children; three brothers, Adolph Velasquez, Bob, and Eddie; two sisters, Margaret Duncan and Irene Ramirez; eight Grandchildren, 12 Great Grandchildren, and one Great-Great Grandchild.
A Celebration of Life will be held later. In lieu of flowers, the family requests a donation be made to the American Cancer Society, in the name of her husband, Martin, a cancer survivor.
