Kelly, Michael & Patrick: I am saddened to hear of the passing of your sweet mother. I remember her beautiful smile and her little laugh. She was always always so kind to the Williamson neighbors across the street in Henderson. We had such great times growing up and were so blessed to have you and your parents as friends and neighbors. My parents loved both your Mom and Dad so much.You were blessed to have her as long as you did. She was a great example of Christ like love. It matters not how old we are when our parents pass away, it still hurts, as if we were a little child again.Please know that I think of you all often and cherish the memories of your wonderful parents and family. I hope your memories of your Mom bring you comfort at this time.

Morrissey Family,  I cherish the two hours I spend with your mom last year.  We talked about your dad, how they met, and moving to Vegas.  She showed me where you guys slept, sending you off to grade school and Gorman.  She talked about your brother Tim.  Her memory was flawless and quick.  It was like spending time with our beloved Rosie G!  I hugged her three or four times during the visit and she actually thanked me.  Why doesn't God make 'em like that anymore?  SHE DOES!

At Tim's memorial in NYC that Denny attended, one of his friends told her that she was the mother all of Tim's friends wished they all had.  She was a warm, kind and loving person -- and a precious gift to those whose lives she touched.

Kelly, Michael and Patrick, I'm so sorry to hear of Denny's passing.  As Tim's friend, I was a generation younger than Denny but felt a strong connection to her from the first time I met her at Tim's apartment in NYC in 1989-90.  Maybe it was the Irish-Catholic-NYC bond but she also had a great wit, an easy laugh, and a big heart.  I'll miss her.  She so loved you all.  Love, Clare

I was so sorry to hear about Aunt Denny's passing... some of my most cherished memories from childhood were of romping around Las Vegas with her and my mother, always laughing and having fun!  So sad that she's gone but the memories will always be with us... she was a wonderful, first-class lady who loved and was loved deeply... and she'll always be with us!

Denny was an inspiration to me and my Avon business.  25 years ago when I was a new representative, I remember her telling me she wouldn't know what to do with her day, if she wasn't selling Avon!!  She was a sweetheart.  My prayers are with your family

I met Denny in 1975 when she became my "AVON lady".  Very classy and beautiful woman. I looked forward to her monthly visit. My deepest sympathy to her family.

I was so sorry to read of your mom's passing. Even though my mom (Maryann Gines) has been gone for over 30 years, I still remember how much she enjoyed their friendship.  I think she always felt a special kinship with your mom since they were both "transplanted New Yorker's." Your mom was a truly caring and thoughtful person. Our families go back so many years - from St. Peter's through Bishop Gorman.  My sincere condolences and best wishes for your entire family.

I had many spring vacations with Aunt Denny - my favorite was Lake Las Vegas. Two years ago she took me to Hoover Dam for the first time. WE loved talking about books, watching movies and organizing pictures on the computer. I will miss her.

Pat & Joyce, It is obvious that your mom's long life can be described as a true success story.  Just look at her wonderful family that succeeded her.  Unfortunately, I can't attend the services, but I will be there in spirit.  Please accept my sincere sympathy for your loss.

Mike, Aunt Denny's passing is the end of an ERA... Whenever or where ever in the world (Iraq, Afghanistan, Kuwait, Germany), I called or e-mailed Aunt Denny, I was assured to come away from the phone call with some guidance and a smile.
