Earl David Bishop

Earl David Bishop, 85, of Henderson, passed away May 29, 2022, Henderson, Nevada. Earl was born on June 14, 1936, in Wheeling, West Virginia. He then met and married Thelma I Long on August 14, 1955. Earl worked as a Radar Technician and operator for the US Army for 20 years and EG&G Special Projects for 21 years. He was a member of the American Legion Post 40 and the Optimist Club in Texas. He had a passion for his family, sports, coaching, fishing, traveling, and helping people. He is preceded in his death by Thomas E Bishop II (Grandson). He is survived by Thelma I Long Bishop (Wife); five children Louise Silveria (Daughter), Thomas E Bishop (son) and his wife Vicky Bishop, William K Bishop (son) and his wife Doreen Bishop, Vincent A Bishop (son) and his wife Cindy Wood Bishop, and Diane Lyons (daughter) plus 21 grandchildren, 26 great grandchildren & 5 great great grandchildren. Services will be held on June 17, 2022 at St Bridget's Catholic Church at 11 AM. His committal service will be on August 12, 2022 at 10 AM at the Southern Nevada Veterans Memorial Cemetery.
