

EDWARD GRANT NEAL, Ed, a beloved husband, father, and grandfather passed away suddenly on June 5, 2022, after a battle with cancer. Ed was born in Kingman, AZ in 1945. The oldest of four, to Hubert Buchanan and Nita Lou Neal.
He grew up in Fairbanks Alaska, graduating from Fairbanks High and attended Skadron College where he met the love of his life, Sandy Neal, they shared 54 years of marriage. His children and grandchildren were a bright spot in his life and always a source of pride.
Ed was the most incredible person and set an example of how to be a good father and a truly honest person. He was great for giving advice, helping with your financial matters, even a little financing, and a different perspective on whatever issues you had. Ed was an accomplished fisherman, hunter, and camper, whether he was after moose, elk, deer, or fish he always had a smile on his face. To many, he was a mentor, business consultant, or surrogate father figure, he truly cared about people and was always ready to help in any way possible.
He was preceded in death by Sandy in August 2020. In November 2021, Ed married Ellen May and they enjoyed 7 months before his passing. He is survived by his wife Ellen May, Siblings, Kenneth Neal (Roxanne), Franklin Neal (Betsy), and Margie Carducci, his children, Richard Hubert, and Randall Edward and his grandchildren, Matthew, Zachary, Jacob, Kathryn, and James. He made lifelong friends along the way who he kept in contact with through the years.
Edward will be laid to rest with Sandy on June 24, at Palm Mortuary in Henderson at 12 pm.
