Biblical love is not chemistry, it’s not impulse. It’s not emotion. It’s self-sacrifice. And when you love like that, and I love like that, the church will be Christlike, and the world will know that we belong to God.

Being a Christian is more than identifying yourself with a particular religion or affirming a certain value system. Being a Christian means you have embraced what the Bible says about God, mankind and salvation. Consider the following truths found in the Bible.
GOD is Sovereign Creator
Contemporary thinking says man is the product of evolution. But the Bible says man is the product of evolution. But the Bible says we were created by a personal God to love, serve, and enjoy endless fellowship with Him. The New Testament reveals it was Jesus Himself who created everything (John 1:3; Col 1:16). Therefore, He also owns and rules everything (Ps 103:19). That means He has authority over our lives and we owe Him absolute allegiance, obedience and worship.
God is Holy
God is absolutely and perfectly Holy (Isaiah 6:3); therefore He can not commit or approve of evil (James 1:13). God requires holiness of us as well. First Peter 1:16 says, “You shall be holy for I am holy.”
Mankind is Sinful
According to Scripture, everyone is guilty of sin: “There is no man who does not sin” (1 Kings 8:46). That doesn’t mean we’re incapable of performing acts of human kindness. But we’re utterly incapable of understanding, loving , or pleasing God in our own (Romans 3:10-12).
Sin Demands a Penalty.
God’s holiness and justice demand that all sin be punished by death (Ez. 18:4). That’s why simply changing our patterns of behavior can’t solve our sin problem or eliminate its consequences.
Jesus is Lord and Savior.
Romans 10-9 says, “If you confess with your mouth Jesus as Lord, and believe in your heart that God raised Him from the dead, you shall be saved.” Even though God’s justice demands death for sin, His love has provided a Savior penalty and died for sinners

The Bible teaches that the eternal state of mankind is determined by our actions during our lives on earth. “The soul who sins is the one who will die. . . . The righteousness of the righteous man will be credited to him, and the wickedness of the wicked will be charged against him” (Ezekiel 18:20).

For to me, to live is Christ and to die is gain. But if I am to live on in the flesh, this will mean fruitful labor for me; and I do not know which to choose. But I am hard-pressed from both directions, having the desire to depart and be with Christ, for that is very much better; (Philippians 1:21-23)

Tito Efren is such a caring individual. For the times I spent with him in church or in our Bible studies he always greeted me with a smile on his face. He makes sure that everyone is well taken cared off. He is truly a selfless man who genuinely loved everyone around him. He always has sweet and encouraging words to offer every time we spoke and a mind as sharp as a sword. He is most definitely a story teller. Always taking pictures of moments. Little did I know that I’ll be looking back and truly appreciating those photos he took of our memories and time together in the present time and will be thankful that he has captured those memories. Memories that we will continue to remember and cherish to keep him alive in our hearts. What a blessing to have met him for his short period here on earth.

Today we mourn for his physical body, but we surely rejoice in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ that Tito Efren is alive and is now in the everlasting arms of the maker of all. Blessed assurance Jesus is Thine! What a foretaste of glory divine! Till we meet again Tito Efren. Maraming Salamat po sa lahat ng inyong pagmamahal at sa pagturing saakin na tunay na pamilya.
