Erma Tackett

Erma Tackett, 83, of Henderson, Nevada stepped into Heaven on Sunday Morning, March 6, 2022 after a short illness. She was at home surrounded by family as she took her last breath. Erma was born on June 13, 1938 to Bill (William) Henry and Mary Esther Killebrew in Hartshorne, Oklahoma. When she was 10 years old, they moved to Henderson, Nevada. Erma graduated from Basic High School in 1956.

Erma met Ronald Tackett in Henderson and they were married on November 24, 1955. Erma trusted in Jesus as her Saviour and was a devoted member of the Victory Road Church of Christ for over 60 years. She will be remembered for her delicious cakes, cookies and banana pudding. Erma made dinner for anyone who was sick or just needed a special touch of love. Her sweet smile and great hugs were her trademark. Erma will be deeply missed by her family, many friends and everyone who ever met her.

Erma is survived by her husband of 67 years, Ron; children: Sydney Bridges and Allen Tackett; son in law, Russell Bridges; daughters in law: Ellie Tackett and Liann Tackett; Grandchildren: Rusty, Tami, Kelli, Courtney, Isaac, Candace, David, James, Caitlin, Aubrey, Shelby, and Ashley who were the loves of her life; great grandchildren: Tanner, Hunter, Madison, Grace, Charley, Logan, Hudson, Emmalynn, Perry, Isaac, and Connor, who brought joy to her heart; siblings: Una Everitt and John and Lorna Killebrew; and many nieces, nephews, and Friends! She was preceded in death by her parents, Bill and Mary Killebrew; her son, Perry; siblings: Mary Newton, Betty Rudisill, Paul Killebrew, Joe Killebrew, Bob Killebrew and Norma Darby.

A visitation for Erma will be held Tuesday, March 29, 2022 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM. Funeral services begin at 11:00 AM both at Palm Boulder Highway Mortuary, 800 South Boulder Highway, Henderson, NV 89015. Erma will be laid to rest at Palm Henderson Cemetery, 800 South Boulder Highway, Henderson, NV 89015. A reception will be held at 12:30pm at Victory Road Church of Christ, 104 W. Victory Road, Henderson, NV, 89015.

In lieu of Flowers, donations can be made in Memory of Erma Tackett toward the building

project at Victory Road Church of Christ.
