Evangeline Sanders (Van) was a very intelligent woman who spent a great deal of her life helping and teaching children. One who was willing to take someone in and take care of them as if they were her own, even when they weren’t her child, or blood relative.
She had grace and poise like a swan and always wanted to pass that onto others. She truly touched the lives of every person she met, and made their lives brighter. A funny and lovely person with sayings to last a lifetime.
She believed in family and education because she wanted everyone around her to have a good life and would help whenever she could. That’s why teaching became not only her love or passion but also her strong suit.
Van loved to travel, just as much as she loved taking her younger relatives with her, allowing them to experience the world alongside her.
With all this, she truly was a real woman. She’s a woman who deserves many thanks and love from everyone around her. Van was an amazing sister, aunt, godmother, and friend. She will be greatly missed by all.
