Frances Anne Ray

Frances Anne Ray, age 79, of Las Vegas, Nevada went home to be with the Lord on Sunday, February 27, 2022. She was born June 15, 1942 in Big Stone Gap, Virginia, to Gilbert and Ruth Vanhook. She was a 30 year resident of Las Vegas.

Her vocation in life was being a wife, mother, and grandmother. Frances was devoted and committed to her family whom she loved with all her heart. She loved spending time with her granddaughters; watching one play softball and baking with the other one.

Frances was a loving, selfless, kind, faithful person who cared for others more than herself. She will be remembered for these beautiful and priceless attributes by her family and friends. She has left a cherished legacy.

Frances is survived by her loving husband, Harvey; son, Michael (Lynn); granddaughters, Logan and Lauren; and sister, Ginger Allison. She was preceded in death by her parents and a brother, Wayne Vanhook.

She will be loved and missed by all who knew and loved her.

Funeral services with graveside committal for Frances will be held Friday, April 8, 2022 beginning at 10:40 AM at Southern Nevada Veteran's Memorial Cemetery, 1900 Veteran's Memorial Drive, Boulder City, NV 89005.
