Fred Gallegos

Fred graduated from Winslow High School, and was a Cpl in the USMC. He served in Da Nang, Vietnam.

He married his soul mate Irma “Sally” Guardian on November 12, 1966.

Fred worked for Shetakis Wholesalers for 43 years. He was an active member of the Kings and Queens Bowling League at Sam’s Town and was a family man.

Fred is preceded in death by his parents Jose A. and Antonia Gallegos, brother Joe B. Gallegos and sister, Rachel Gallegos.

He is survived by his wife Irma “Sally”, sons; Fred, David and Gilbert; daughters Lisa and Elena; grandchildren Nika, David A., Elizabeth, Elijah, Rico and Ciera; great grandchildren Isabelle and Amy; sisters Luisa Cordova, Patricia Neil, Veronica Shaw, Emily Lucey, Theresa Gallegos, Romona Gallegos, brothers Arthur Gallegos and Daniel Gallegos. Fred had many nieces and nephews that loved him.

Funeral Services-Viewing will be held on Wednesday, March 6, 2013 from 3-7 pm. Rosary at 7:00 p.m. at Palm Mortuary 800 S. Boulder Highway, Henderson , NV. Funeral Mass will be held on Thursday March 7, 2013 at 10:00 am, at St Peter the Apostle Catholic Church. 204 S. Boulder Highway, Henderson , NV . Burial to follow at 12 pm at the Southern Nevada Veterans’ Memorial Cemetery, 1900 Buchanan Blvd., Boulder City, NV. Reception 2-5 pm at the American Legion, 425 Van Wagenen St., Henderson NV
