Gerald O. Dompier

Gerald O'Malley Dompier, age 80, of Henderson, Nevada passed away on Saturday, December 18, 2021. He was born February 28, 1941 in Seattle, Washington. Gerald was He was raised in the Pacific Northwest, moving to Nevada in 1983.

Gerald was a veteran of the US Navy serving for over 20 years. After retiring from active service he worked an additional 24 years as a military contractor; serving his country for over 45 years. He had been a volunteer with the Boy Scouts and Girl Scouts, Lions Club, and Blind Center of Nevada.

He was preceded in Death by his wife, Carol Dompier; parents: Toots and Woody Dompier; sister, Rose Woodall; brother, Chuck Dompier; and grandchild, Christian Gasca. He is survived by his three children: Vicki Gasca (Leo), Mark Dompier (Karla), and Jerry Dompier (Shannon); grandchildren: AJ, Ana (Dylan), and Joann Gasca, Ryan Dompier, Brandon Dompier; great grandchild, Nova Magee; 8 Nieces and Nephews, and many great nieces and nephews.

A memorial service with military honors for Gerald will be held Monday, February 7, 2022 at 11:20 AM at the Southern Nevada Veterans Memorial Cemetery, 1900 Veterans Memorial Drive, Boulder City, Nevada 89005.
