Geraldine June Killebrew

Geraldine June Killebrew, age 86, of Sanger, California, passed away peacefully at her home where her parents lived on Wednesday April 22, 2020. She was born July 10, 1933 in Canada to her parents Willis Patterson and Willa Patterson (Slye).

Geraldine was raised in Iowa, but in 1955, she relocated to Henderson, Nevada. In 1958, Geraldine married William "Joe" Killebrew; their son James Ray Killebrew was born in 1969.

Geraldine worked in education until she retired in 1999. She was a dedicated wife, mother, grandmother, sister, and daughter; whom enjoyed living a simple country life. She liked to knit, tend to her garden, collect coins, and research her family lineage; travelling and documenting her genealogy back to the 1700's.

Geraldine was preceded in death by her husband of 39 years, William; parents, Willis and Willa Patterson; brothers Max and Keith Patterson; and sister, Lucille Miller. She is survived by her son James; grandchildren: Debbie, Jimi, and Farah; and four great grandchildren.

Geraldine will be laid to rest privately with her husband at Palm Henderson Cemetery, located at 800 South Boulder Highway, Henderson, Nevada 89015.
