If Roses Grow in Heaven
If roses grow in heaven
Lord pick a bunch I plea....
And place them in my Mother's arms
And tell her they're from me...
Please tell her that I love her and miss her...
And when she turns to smile,
Place a kiss upon her cheek...
And hold her for a while....
Because remembering her is easy
I do it every day!
But there's an ache inside my heart,
That will never go away......
And if you can find the time O' Lord...
Please whisper in my mother's ear
That I thank her for all she did for me...
Because I may not have made that clear!
And tell her I look forward to the day....
When we can be happily together again...
On the day I find my way, to meet her up in heaven!
