Gomesindo Richard Hernandez, age 85, of Henderson, Nevada passed away on Monday, May 12, 2025 in Henderson, Nevada. Gomesindo was born on November 02,1939, in Gallup, New Mexico. He graduated from Slot technician School and received his Slot Mechanic degree.
He married Irene Hernandez, on June 22,1963. Gom worked and had a career as a Slot Technician for the Orleans Casino and Sigma Gaming. He had a passion for traveling, camping, and hiking.
He is preceded in death by his mother Thomasa Martinez, his sisters Paula and Elvira and his brother Tony.
He is survived by his wife Irene Hernandez, son Richard Hernandez, daughter Eileen Winston, sister Virginia Villenueva, 3 grandchildren; Janice, Joseph and Jessica and 7 great grandchildren; Jalen, Major, Maddox, Mavryk, Amiyah, Caiden, and Legend.
A visitation for Gomesindo will be held Wednesday, May 28, 2025 from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM at Palm Mortuary - Henderson, 800 South Boulder Highway, Henderson, NV 89015 with funeral service from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM and graveside service 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM with reception from 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM at Palm Boulder Highway Mortuary
