

Harry Eugene Aine, Sr., age 93, passed away peacefully at his home in Boulder City, Nevada on December 18, 2020. He was born November 21, 1927, in Long Beach, California. Harry lived a very accomplished and inspirational life. He joined the Navy at age 17 and became a Lieutenant Navy pilot during World War II, with active service until 1949. Harry continued service in the Navy Reserves until retirement as a Captain in 1987.
Harry married Mildred Joyce Brittain (deceased) in December of 1950 in Corpus Christi, Texas. He graduated, with honors, from Indiana University with a degree in Business. Harry then graduated from Stanford University Law School as well as Stanford University School of Engineering with a Masters M.S.E.E. He began his career in Palo Alto, California as a corporate patent attorney, during which time he and Mildred raised a family of 5 children.
Harry later started his own law firm and pursued his love of inventions, which resulted in many personal patents. In 1983 Harry married Kim L. Reed (deceased) in Nevada. After retirement Harry and Kim pursued a life as cattle ranchers in Mississippi until finally making their permanent residence in Boulder City, Nevada. Harry enjoyed sharing his passion for new inventions, boating, ranching, fishing, and hunting with friends and loved ones.
Harry was preceded in death by his parents Everett E. Aine of Richmond, CA, and Dorothy W. Aine of Fort Smith, AK; daughter, Susan Aine of Palo Alto, CA; and sister, Helen Fritz (Louis - deceased) of Ashland, OH. Harry is survived by his children: Mark Aine (Sharon), Harry Aine Jr. (Ildiko), Craig Aine (Roberta), and Kevin Aine (Tonya); stepson, Larry Hunter (Gail); sister, Elizabeth Cragin (Patrick - deceased); and many grandchildren, nieces, and nephews.
