

Helen May Rusk of Henderson passed away Sunday, August 12, 2012. She was born in the family farm house in Sanborn, New York on November 6, 1929 on her Father's birthday. She was a homemaker and a business woman who built a ceramic shop business on her own and operated it with her husband. She was most known for her hand crafted porcelain dolls with hand-sewn dresses. She was a member of the Highland Hills Baptist Church in Henderson. She is survived by her husband, Earl, sharing 64 years of marriage; sons Dennis, Bradley, daughter Diane and son Earl. She was proceeded in death by sister, Ruth age 3, brother William and sister Norma. She is survived by her brother, Edward Sherwood of Mt. Juliet, Tennessee; grandchildren Kelly, Candice, Evan and Chaya; great-grandchild, Evan Guthrie; brothers-in-law Lorne Rusk and Lee Keir and sisters-in-law June Lipa and Belva Sherwood. Visitation will be Monday, August 20, 2012, from 9:00 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. at Palm Mortuary and Cemetery, 800 So. Boulder Hwy., Henderson, Nevada. Services and burial to follow at 1:20 p.m. at the Southern Nevada Veterans Chapel and Memorial Cemetery, 1900 Buchanan Blvd., Boulder City, Nevada.
