

Herstene "TC" Hardeman, age 80, of Las Vegas, Nevada passed away on Monday, January 3, 2022. He was born September 27, 1941 in Texarkana, Texas to Arjane Leola Hardeman and Rev. William Hardeman. TC was raised in Phoenix, Arizona, Bakerfield, California and Santa Ana, California with five older brothers, one older sister, three younger sisters, and two younger brothers.
As a young man, TC enjoyed sports, classic cars, and attending car shows. He attended Santa Ana High School, where he made the Junior Varsity football team as a sophomore. On April 23, 1963, He was drafted into the U.S. Army. He was deployed to Vietnam where he would spend most of his enlistment. Through his hard work and dedication, TC achieved the rank of SP4 while serving in a Special Forces unit. He was an a M-1 Rifle Expert, Carbine Sharpshooter, and an Expert with the M-14. TC was honorably discharged with a good conduct medal in 1965.
TC was a huge family man; and a proud Christian. On August 3, 1991, he would marry Dana Drinnin in Riverside California. Together they would blend their lives and families. TC was blessed with two children from his previous marriage to Rosemary McIntosh, and two more children with his wife, Dana. As their families continued to grow he was blessed with two grandchildren who were the apple of his eye. TC's family always came first; he loved his wife and his children and would do anything for them. While family was a big part of his life; TC also enjoyed leisure activities. In his spare time, he enjoyed bowling gambling at his favorite casinos; and watching his Dallas Cowboys, NASCAR, UFC, boxing, hockey, and golf on the television when opportunity presented itself.
All who knew him would agree that TC was a pillar of the community. He lived his life with his feet firmly on the ground. He had a strong work ethic, was pragmatic in his thoughts and acts, and constantly sought the means for self-improvement. He was willing to share his ideas and knowledge for the benefit of others, so that they could accomplish more in their lives.
TC was preceded in death by his father, Rev. William Hardeman; mother, Arjane Leola Hardeman; siblings: Willie B. Hardeman, William Hardeman Jr., Valreece Hardeman; Jimmie Hardeman, Charles Hardeman, Patrica Hardeman. He is survived by his wife, Dana Hardeman; children: Tyra Hardeman, Brian McIntosh Hardeman, Brittani Hardeman, and Monique Hardeman; adopted daughter, Tamie Marie Lopez; siblings: Jerry Hardeman, Vernice Hardeman, Clint Hardeman, Richard Hardeman, and Darlene Hardeman; granddaughters, Sadé Johnson and Carrington Benavente.
A visitation for TC will be held Sunday, January 23, 2022 from 3:00 PM to 7:00 PM. Funeral services will be Monday, January 24, 2022 beginning at 10:00 AM both at at Palm Boulder Highway Mortuary, 800 South Boulder Highway, Henderson, NV 89015. TC will be laid to rest with military honors at noon at the Southern Nevada Veterans Memorial Cemetery, 1900 Veterans Memorial Drive, Boulder City, NV 89005
