Jackie Nielson Williams of Henderson, Nevada, passed away Tuesday, November 1, 2022, at age 70 in Henderson. She was born on January 12, 1952, in Salina, Utah, and spent 50 years with her husband John T. Williams, whom she married on February 24, 1973.
After graduating from Basic High School in 1970, she had a 35-year career in retail and marketing at JCPenney. She was a proud Henderson resident and member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. She raised many animals, including horses, chickens, and dogs.
Jackie had a passion for crafting, especially holiday and birthday cards, decorations, and gifts for the family. She was an avid traveler, both with her family and as a member of the Nevada Trailblazers, a group of friends who traveled the country together in their RVs. Jackie and John visited all 48 states in the contiguous U.S.
Jackie is survived by husband John, son John Williams (Julia Fedor), daughter Jennifer Coulter (Michael Coulter), daughter Joan Williams, brother Rodney Nielson (Debora), granddaughters Ashlynn and Abigail Clark, grandsons Chase and John Huebner, and several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by parents Glen K. Nielson and Norma Dean Shields Nielson, parents-in-law Ralph and Evie Williams, brother-in-law Danny Williams, grandparents Hilda and Roy Shields, and grandson Wyatt Coulter.
Services will be held on Tuesday, November 15, at Palm Boulder Highway Mortuary & Cemetery, 800 S Boulder Hwy, Henderson, with a viewing at 11 a.m. and service at 1 p.m.
