She graduated high school in Albuquerque and moved to Henderson, Nevada with her parents in the early 1990’s. She met Tim in Las Vegas in late 1997 while he was serving in the Air Force. They were married three years after in Henderson to begin their journey together. They were blessed with three children to love and share their lives. She was driven and diligent in several office capacities within the construction industry. Her favorite and most challenging part of her career was being one of just three people at LAM Contracting when the company started, as the office manager. She dedicated 23 years to them in that role, working hard to support their growth and success in any way that she could, building strong, long-lasting friendships along the way. The discipline, pride and patriotism she learned from her father, a Marine, lived within her and were central to her character. She had a sweet smile and a fierce heart as her guide in life. She was never afraid to speak her mind, protect and stand up for loved ones and what she believed to be right and just.
She had a passion for her faith, her family and music – New Mexican, country and more. She loved to celebrate birthdays and holidays, especially Christmas. She cherished everyone in her family in Las Vegas, New Mexico, Minnesota and beyond. She always made them feel just as special as they were to her. She enjoyed the roles of daughter, wife, mother, sister, friend and grandmother more than most and was an amazing example for all. She did nothing to deserve the cancer that took her, but she will forever be remembered and live in our hearts.
She is preceded in death by her father - Manuel; her cousin – Renee and her grandmother – Sadie. She is survived by her husband of 22 years – Tim; their children Jacob and his wife Caroline, Ashley, Chelsea; grandson Mason and her mother – Cathy ; her father-in-law and mother-in-law Butch and Vickie Hoffman.
