Jean Manon Larson, age 91, of Henderson, Nevada passed away on Friday, July 24, 2020. She was born to Wallace Beatty and Cleo (Davis) Beatty on July 5, 1929 in Heber City, Utah. Jean married the love of her life Russell Larson in Heber City, Utah on July 20, 1948.
After marriage, Jean settled down in Henderson, Nevada, where she was a second grade teacher at Gordon McCaw and Robert Taylor Elementary. Jean retired from teaching in 1993. She loved cats, bells, John Wayne, and teaching her great grandchildren new things.
In August of 2019, Jean was unable to live by herself and needed 24/7 care. Her Granddaughter Sarah volunteered to take care of her. So Jean and Little Lady moved into her home with her husband and 4 kids. She spent the remainder of her time surrounded by the laughs of her great grandchildren and love of her caregivers Sarah, Judy and Sergio.
On July 24, 2020 at 7:16pm our heavenly father opened up the gates to heaven and welcomed Jean to her eternal home. It was a peaceful and beautiful departure. The room was full of love, peace, and family who loved her dearly. Rest in peace mom, sister, grandma, granny we cannot wait to meet up with you soon. You are deeply loved and missed but forever in our hearts.
