Jeanne Cribbins

Jeanne Ruth Cribbins, 82, of Las Vegas passed away December 26, 2014. She was born January 3, 1932, in San Francisco, California to Edna Mae (Billie) and Francis (Frank) Murphy. Graduated in 1949 from San Mateo High School, and in 1953 from San Jose State University. Married to Kenneth H. Cribbins (deceased) on August 15, 1953; mother of Debra Cribbins, Karen Cribbins-Kuklin (Steve), grandmother to Evan and Jordan Kuklin; Billiemarie, Ken (Kathleen), Melissa, and Allison Witham; and great-grandmother to Hunter, Darius, and Lillian Witham, and Sebastian Rodriguez. Jeanne taught all phases of Home Economics for almost 30 years in Palo Alto, Mountain View, and Saratoga, California; and Reno and Sparks, Nevada. Active member of Gamma Phi Beta Sorority Alumnae; PEO Sisterhood; Past Matron of both Miramonte Chapter #141 in California and Sunrise Chapter #28 in Nevada; Past Queen of Islam Temple #25 and dual member of El Giza Temple #139, Daughters of the Nile. Resident of Henderson since 1995. The Memorial Service Celebration of Life, will be at 10 AM on Saturday, January 3rd, 2015, at Vegas 32 Masonic Lodge, 632 E Charleston Blvd, Las Vegas, NV 89104.
