Remembering the Life of Jimmy C. Riedinger

Jimmy C. Riedinger, 83, passed away on May 2, 2025, in Henderson, Nevada. Born on October 15, 1941, in Spencer, Iowa, Jimmy led a life marked by service, creativity, and dedication.

A veteran of the United States Air Force, Jimmy served his country with honor before pursuing higher education at Heald Business College. He later worked for Chevron Corporation in San Francisco, where he began a diverse professional journey. Embracing his entrepreneurial spirit, he opened and operated a flower shop in San Francisco—an endeavor that reflected his artistic nature and desire to bring beauty into the world.

After relocating to Henderson, Nevada, Jimmy continued to share his talents through roles at Green Valley Ranch Casino and Big Lots. In every position he held, he was known for his commitment and warmth.

Jimmy had a deep appreciation for the arts. He found joy in playing the accordion and expressing himself through painting. His love for animals, especially dogs, remained a constant source of happiness throughout his life.

He is survived by his brother; Terry Riedinger; and his step-son, Esteban Villalobos. He was preceded in death by his father, Levi Conrad Riedinger; and his mother, Dorothy Ilene Larsen.

A memorial service was held in Colma, California to honor Jimmy's life.

Jimmy will be remembered as a caring individual who brought kindness and creativity into the lives of those around him. May his memory bring comfort to those who knew him.
