It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of Joan Lavonne Norton, 86. Joan was born in Garrison, Minnesota, on January 10, 1940, to Nellie Carruth Fullerton and George Sheldon Fullerton. Her loving and generous spirit touched countless lives.
Joan is survived by her husband, Robert L Norton of Las Vegas; her daughter, Cary Smith-Miller, and her husband, Erik Miller of Churchill, PA; her son, Troy R Smith, and his wife, Jodi Miller-Smith of Duck Creek, UT; her grandchild, Travis W Smith of Las Vegas; her brothers: Robert Fullerton and Larry Fullerton; and her sister, Sheila Rae Shaffer.
There will be a Memorial Celebration of Life Service for Joan at the Vegas Masonic Lodge #32, 632 E. Charleston Blvd, Las Vegas, Nevada, at 3:00 PM on March 1, 2026.
