

Born in Brooklyn, N.Y. and raised in the Astoria section of Queens N.Y. He served in the U.S. Navy for seven years. Three were active duty during WWII, and four on reserve duty after the war. He then attended the City College of New York (C.C.N.Y.) earning his B.B.A. majoring in Accounting. He then attended New York University (N.Y.U.) where he earned his M.B.A. majoring in management. During this time he also obtained his license as a Certified Public Accountant (C.P.A.).
He married Marge in 1947 and they recently celebrated their fifty fourth wedding anniversary. During his career, which was spent as a corporate officer in international accounting and finance, he lived abroad for eighteen years as a corporate officer with several major U.S. corporations in addition to extensive travel abroad including Hong Kong, the Philippines, Taiwan, Australia and Brazil. He semi-retired and moved to Morehead City, North Carolina in 1986 where he started his own accounting practice.While in North Carolina he became a subject of biographical record in Who's Who in Finance and Industry in 1987. In October 1991 he joined the Morehead City Beaufort Elks Lodge# 1710. Over the years he served as Chaplin, Lecturing Knight, Loyal Knight and was Chairman of many Committees that he was asked to serve on . In 2003 he transfered to the Henderson/Green Valley Lodge # 2802 and served as interim Trustee for the balance of the Elks year. His first year in ritual competition he and his team took first place! In 2011-2012 he was named Officer of the year.
He and his wife loved to dance and therefore the "Big Bands" were their favorite style of music. For listening its jazz, jazz, jazz. When his wife died in 2002 he moved to Nevada to be near his family, where he continued to do accounting, financial and tax consulting. He was always active in the many communities he lived in over the years. Some of this activity are as follows:

He leaves behind two daughters, Rosemary Grimm of Ft. Worth TX and Flo Dibartolomeo of Mesa AZ , seven grandchildren, Shanan Underwood, Danielle Miller, Mike Miller, Nick Dibartolomeo, Margo Debartolomeo, Kelli Miller, Ashley Grimm. and eleven great grandchildren.
He will be sadly missed by all who knew him.
