Being born on Friday the thirteenth was just the kind of different Jordan liked to be. Jordan didn’t march to the beat of a different drummer, he marched to an entirely different orchestra, and it was amazing! From an early age, Jordan kept everyone around him on their toes as he launched rockets in the house, assembled complicated toys and bicycles before he possessed the ability to read piddly instructions, and wandered the world in search of his next big adventure. As Jordan grew, he spent countless hours perfecting his magic. He loved magic shops, magic tricks, magic shows, and performing magic for others. Surely he is amazed at the magic he can perform now, without the confines of his mortal body! Jordan has an incredible mind and spirit. The creativity, intelligence, inventiveness, uniqueness, and imagination he possesses are more than his physical body was capable of containing. This frustrated Jordan. It never stopped Jordan from loving and making others laugh, but Jordan struggled to be true to what his spirit knows he is capable of and what is socially acceptable. Even when Jordan’s words didn’t come out quite right, Jordan’s spirit touched others. He had a way of making his mark on people that lasts a lifetime. Jordan is busy launching rockets without ceilings, creating some crazy flying machine, wandering without borders, and making everyone laugh, and we couldn’t be happier for him. Jordan was greeted first in heaven by his great grandma Ellis, who was probably surprised to see him so soon, since she just arrived there herself. We’re certain she gave him a grand tour and made all the necessary introductions. Jordan is survived by his parents, Jason and Kristin Smith, sisters, Kacey Smith, Kennadi Smith and Kamryn Smith, his niece, Blaire Smith, his grandparents, Phillip and Mickie Pulsipher, Richard and Marilyn Teerlink, and Kenneth and Patty Smith. He is also survived by eighteen aunts and uncles and twenty four cousins. There will be a public viewing on Friday January 2, 2015 from 4:00-7:00 pm at Palm Boulder Highway Mortuary, 800 S.
