Born and raised in Brooklyn, New York, he started working as a meat cutter at a very early age to help support his family. He remained in that line of work for about 40 years. Joseph and his wife married while they were still both in their teens and he was away serving his country in the Army in Germany when their first child was born.
Always up for adventure, Joseph moved his family to Las Vegas in 1978, where they started a whole new chapter of their lives. Over the years he shared his fun-loving spirit with his children and grandchildren. Mountain climbing, horseback riding, swimming, amusement parks, and playing in the snow at Mt. Charleston were just a few of the things that he enjoyed.
Joseph also had a passion for motorcycles and put many miles on his - even riding across the country a couple of times. He eventually became a member of BACA - Bikers Against Child Abuse - and really loved helping children with his biker family.
