Joshua Robert Fry, age 40, passed away peacefully, surrounded by family and friends on March 16, 2026 . He was born on June 7, 1985, in Grand Forks, North Dakota, and was a resident of Las Vegas, Nevada. Joshua will be remembered as adventurous, beloved, kind-hearted, devoted, hard-working, and humorous—someone whose steady presence and warm spirit left a lasting mark on those who knew him.
Josh grew up in Tucson, Arizona. He graduated from Amphi High School and later attended Western New Mexico University, where he met the love of his life, Melissa. He went on to complete an apprenticeship in Engineering. After graduating, Josh worked in the medical industry, bringing the same devoted, hard-working character to his career that he brought to every part of life.
Josh and Melissa were married on March 16, 2008, at Mount Charleston after a three-year courtship. A winter storm the day before meant the groomsmen had to shovel snow so the wedding could go on outdoors as planned—an early example of the determination and good humor that surrounded their life together. They shared two beautiful children, Grayson and Abigail, who were a constant source of pride and joy to him.
An adventurous spirit at heart, Josh loved camping, hunting, fishing, and any outdoor activity that put him under open skies. He also enjoyed riding his motorcycle. Above all, he loved watching his children play sports and was incredibly proud of their accomplishments. His kind-hearted nature, devoted love for his family, and the humor he brought into everyday moments will be deeply missed and fondly remembered.
Joshua is survived by his loving wife, Melissa, children; Grayson and Abigail, and numerous other friends and family members. He is also survived by his dogs; Freya and Romeo.
A celebration of Life will be held at a later date.
