Joyce Green Fleetwood

Joyce Green Fleetwood, age 85, of Henderson, Nevada passed away on Wednesday, June 12, 2024. She was born October, 23 1938 in Bloomfield, Missouri to her parents John Harvey Green and Mabel Tippens. Raised in bloomfield, she married Melvin Fleetwood on June 27, 1953 and they started their family.

The couple were married 50 years, and were blessed with six children. As their families grew they would be blessed with 13 grandchildren and 21 great grandchildren. In 1967, she and Melvin would relocate to Henderson, Nevada to continue to raise their family. To help support her family, Joyce worked at Society Cleaners until early 1990's when she would go to work at the Pawn Place; where she would work as an assistant manager, until retiring in 2005.

Joyce was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother who enjoyed spending time with her family, and tending to her garden. Joyce was loving, kind and had a heart of gold; she will truly be missed.

Joyce was preceded in death by her husband, Melvin; her parents; one daughter, Marilyn; two brothers, and one sister, Doris. She is survived by five children: Debbie, Donna (Tommy), Tammi (Isa), Melvin Jr. (Candi); and Richard (Leslie); three sisters: Shelby, Judy, and Lois; 13 grandchildren, and 21 great grandchildren.
