Kathleen J. "Kathy" Eby, a 61-year resident of Henderson and Boulder City, passed away suddenly, Oct. 15, 2013. Kathleen was born Aug. 24, 1932, in Philadelphia. She was preceded in death by two of her three children, Roydene Farnsworth and Michael Eby. Kathleen was married to William R. Eby for 61 years, and he survives her. She is also survived by her daughter, Elizabeth Eby of Las Vegas; three grandchildren, Jasun Farnsworth and Amy (Mario) Loya of Henderson, and Evon Eby of Las Vegas; two great- granddaughters, Angela and Sofia Loya of Henderson; and extended family and relatives. There will be many who will mourn her passing and miss her every day. Services will be at 1 p.m. Wednesday, Oct. 23, at St. Francis of Assisi Catholic Church, 1111 N Michael Way. Burial will be at 11:20 a.m. Friday, Nov. 1, at Southern Nevada Veterans Memorial Cemetery, 1900 Veterans Memorial Drive, Boulder City.
