

KLARA GUTHIER IRMER (OMA) was born to Jakob and Emma Guthiuer on November 23, 1932 in Mannheim, Germany. She passed away on October 2, 2017 in Henderson, Nevada. Klara grew up during the War in Germany and spoke about her life growing up and about her family there. The struggles as well as good times. She came to the United States, got married and raised five children. She always said how much she loved America and she was proud to be an American Citizen. Klara worked in the Air Craft Industry for many years until her Retirement. She retired and cared for her Grandchildren. She took them to School and went on their fieldtrips with them. She would take them on trips. She often traveled to Nevada to spend time with her youngest Grandchild. Klara has always been a very Loving Mother, Grandmother and Great-Grandmother, Sister and Aunt. She was instrumental in raising her Grandchildren as well. We were taught life lessons, to be meticulous and caring in everything we do. She had a wonderful personality. She was funny and at times very mischievous. She was very kind. She loved her home and her roses in California. She loved all animals. She loved to eat. She enjoyed a nice cold beer every once in a while. She loved Country Music. She enjoyed her Saturday morning German Music. Friends and family called her Oma (grandmother in German). She is greatly loved and missed. Klara is survived by: her 5 children: Sonia Watkins, Erich Irmer and wife Char, Karina Irmer, Kirsten Kittrell and husband Sandy, Andrea Garry and husband Mark. 10 Grandchildren: Brandon Irmer, Johnny Nunez Jr. and his wife Rosie, Derek Kittrell and his wife Elizabeth, Chandra Kittrell, Shaina Garry, Jessica Garry, Mia Garry, Geovanni Garry, Dustin Hellstrom, and Jennifer Hellstrom. 6 Great-Grandchildren: Johnny Nunez III, Ivy Nunez, Victoria Campos, Anousome Vitoutsy, Gabriella Irmer, and Gavin Irmer. 1 Great-Great-Grandchild. Klara is also survived by 1 Sister in Germany, Gerda Oser, 1 Nephew and 2 Great-Nieces in Germany. There will be a Gathering for Family and Friends on Sunday, November 5, 2017 at 3:30 p.m. at the Alpine Village Restaurant, 833 Torrance Blvd. in Torrance, Ca. 90502 A Memorial Service will be held on Monday, November 6, 2017 at 2:00 p.m. at Wayfarers Chapel (The Glass Church), 5755 Palos Verdes Drive S, Rancho Palos Verdes, Ca. 90275 In lieu of flowers you may make a donation to The Alzheimer's Association
