Larry was born on Nov. 12, 1940 in Red Lake Falls, MN. to the late Andrew and Rena Walker. He was the third of seven children. After graduation, he joined the United States Navy. He served as a military Civil Engineer and was mostly stationed in Southeast Asia. All of the seven brothers served in the military. He was a proud patriot and US Navy Veteran.
He was a devoted husband and father and the strength and foundation of the family who always made sure we were well provided for. He was a charitable man and always willing to help the less fortunate. He dedicated many years of his life to helping people in need. He started a nonprofit foundation called the Feeding Program about 5 years ago which he funded himself. He wanted to provide healthy nutritional meals to children, mostly underprivileged children and wanted to leave this world knowing he helped others in need.
His interests included family, woodworking, reading, target shooting, and the stock market.
He is survived by his wife and daughter; and two brothers Douglas and Terence both from Mn.
