Liberty is survived by her parents Clayton and Sarah Burgett and siblings Michael, Mckay, Kate, Weston, and Jackson. And a huge extended family that loved her very much.
Liberty was a daughter, granddaughter, sister, and friend.
Liberty was strong, audacious, and kind. She loved to dance and would dance like no one is watching anywhere at any time. She was never embarrassed whenever she felt the need to spontaneously dance and sing.
Some of Liberty’s favorite things were pepperoni pizza, the color green, the beach, Disneyland, and spending time with her family, She loved to rope people into board games, do backbends, dress up for Halloween, do a spa day with girls, wrestle with her brothers, eat treats, and play with her friends and cousins.
Liberty’s was kind-hearted. She was always concerned about others. One of the first questions she asked after she found out about her leukemia was whether she could give it to others. She was relieved to know it wasn’t contagious.
Our hearts are broken and she will be fiercely missed every day. We know we will see her again and dance with her like nobody is watching.
Liberty’s favorite primary song was “I will walk with Jesus”
As I walk with Jesus to my home above,
He will bless me with His Spirit and fill me with His love,
Change my heart forever and help me clearly see.
I will walk with Jesus, and He will walk with me.
We love you forever
