Lilly W. Wessman

Lilly Marcella Wilson Wessman passed away July 23, 2012, at the age of 80 at the TLC Care Center, after a long illness. She is preceded in death by her sons Keith Hayward Wessman Jr. and Alma Wayne Wessman, her parents Clarence & Thelma Wilson, and her brother Clarence Jr.

She is survived by her husband of almost 62 years, Keith Hayward Wessman, daughters April Lilly Wessman and Georgina Lynn Wessman Carr, 14 cherished Grandchildren and 20 precious Great Grandchildren. She is also survived by her brothers Joseph C. Wilson, William W. Wilson, sister Georgina Ross and brother Ronald Wilson.

Lilly was born 2 April 1932 in Salt Lake City, Utah. Her parents were Clarence M. Wilson Sr. and Thelma Lilly Jones. They had 6 children, Lilly being the eldest.

Lilly married Keith H. Wessman in the Salt Lake Temple, 28 September 1950. They lived in Salt Lake City and Kearns, Utah until they moved to Las Vegas, Nevada in November 1964 and moved to Henderson in 1970. She filled a church assignment called, Missionary information, which coordinated missionary referrals and became a LDS Hotline which provided help to travelers in need and helped some who were suicidal.

Lilly will be greatly missed. There will be a viewing on Monday 30 July 4:00pm to 7:00pm at Palm Boulder Highway Mortuary, 800 S. Boulder Hwy, Henderson, NV. The funeral will be Tuesday 31 July at 1:30 pm, with a viewing at 12:00, at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints Chapel, 303 Cholla Street, Henderson, NV. The interment will be Wednesday 1 August 10:40 am at Southern Nevada Veterans Memorial Cemetery in Boulder City, NV.
