Linda Marie Mitchell

On Sunday, May 9, 2021, Linda M Mitchell; Loving Wife, Mother and Grandmother, passed away at age 79. She was born on July 5, 1941 in Ponca City, Oklahoma to Muriel and Evelyn Watson. Linda had done many things in her life prior to becoming a stay at home Mom. To name a few; she graduated from Bakersfield College, she was a nurse for many years, and a Business owner. Linda also spent many years coaching bowling and teaching Bible Study.

Linda married the love of her Life, Bud, in 1970, and they had been married for 50 years prior to him passing last year.

Linda was a strong Christian woman, a true role model, an admired by many and a woman of character and faith. She loved many things in her life but, crochet, word searches, and the St Louis Cardinals; along with watching endless hours of Adam 12 and Colombo were at the top of here list behind God and Family. She had a quick wit, a great sense of humor, an infectious smile and a compassionate spirit. You could not ask for a better Wife, Mother or Friend; we were blessed to have her in our life for as long as we did.

Linda was preceded in death by her father, Muriel; mother, Evelyn; sisters: Candice and Murlene; brother, Gary Lee; husband, Bud; daughter, Terri; and grandson, Caleb. She is survived by her son, Tom; daughter in law, Tristan; and grandchildren: Kelsey and Megan.

Memorial services for Linda will be held on the June 26, 2021 at 1:00 PM at Highland Hills Baptist Church, 615 College Dr. Henderson, NV 89002.
