SFC (USA RET) LLoyd Allen Wellman passed away on 8 February 2021 in Henderson, NV. He was preceded by his father LLoyd Alfred and survived by his mother Doris M. Wellman, brother George Michael Wellman of Steubenville, Ohio and wife MSG (USA RET) Diana A Wellman of Henderson, NV. LLoyd spent over 25 years in the United States Army, active duty and national guard. After leaving active duty he was employed by Titanium Metals (TIMET) in Henderson, NV and joined the Nevada National Guard. LLoyd was assigned to the 1864th Transportation Company in Henderson, NV with his last assignment in Camp Arifjan, Kuwait as a platoon Sgt and convoy commander providing logistical support to the surrounding forces. LLoyd enjoyed tending to his fruit trees, vegetable garden and walking fur babies to Hidden Falls Park meeting a wonderful group of people in the dog walking community. We take great comfort that LLoyd has been reunited with his father and previous fur babies. My husband, we salute you for your service to God and country, love for family, friends and fur babies. Time to rest.
