Lynn A. Chapman, a.k.a. “Chappy”, 80, passed away at his home in Henderson, Nevada, on September 10, 2021. Chappy was born and raised and lived most of his life in California. He served his country proudly in the Navy with an honorable discharge. He met his current wife, Donna, August 23, 1996, and they tied the knot on January 23, 2009. Chappy had a successful and fulfilling career as a tele-communications engineer for Western Electric, GTE, Rolm and Siemens. What made him most happy was spending time with his wife Donna and his wonderful family. He enjoyed playing golf, doing handyman projects, cooking, entertaining, supporting his NFL Raider team and living out his dream of retiring in Mexico. He and his wife Donna moved to Cabo San Lucas, Mexico in 2006 and built their dream home on the hillside overlooking the ocean at Land’s End in Cabo San Lucas. They spent 15 wonderful years enjoying their retirement dream. Lynn felt great satisfaction and pride in achieving this accomplishment. He was preceded in death by his mother, Mary Jane, his father Edward and his stepfather Mal. He is survived by his beloved wife Donna, his devoted children Sherri and Scott, his cherished grandchildren Nicole, Jenna, Malina and Noi, his faithful siblings Gennie, John, Marilyn and Larry and a cohort of wonderful friends. He was one of those all around “good guys” and all those who knew him and loved him will be forever blessed to have had his presence in their lives. Dear Chappy, thank you for being with us for as long as you could. We love and miss you so very, very much and pray that you are at peace. A celebration of Lynn’s life will be held in the future for family and close friends.
