

Born August 23, 1941 in Wellman, Iowa. She was preceded in death by her parents, and two brothers. Raised in Goshen, Indiana, she graduated from Goshen High School 1959, attended Ball State University, Muncie, Indiana earning a BA Degree in 1963. She did further post graduate work at the University of Tennessee, Knoxville, as graduate assistant in 1963. She taught two years in Rochester, New York, in the West Irondequoit School District and then returned to Ball State University to earn a Master's Degree, Art Education 1966.
In 1967 she came to Las Vegas to teach Art at Fay Herron Elementary School. Margaret met David Hoff, elementary school teacher and they were married June 8, 1969. In 1988 Margaret was awarded the Outstanding Art Educator Elementary Division and in 1996 the Distinguished Educator Award by the Clark County School District.
Margaret was a very active member of Saint Paul's Charismatic Episcopal Church, Henderson, NV. Her smile and faith went hand in hand as she helped others. Margaret was a well-traveled individual to over 14 different countries and most of the entire continental United States of America.
The funeral will be held April 10, 2024 at Saint Paul's Charismatic Episcopal Church, 201 Taylor Street, Henderson, Nevada 89012. Viewing 9 a.m. to 10 a.m. Funeral service 10 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. Burial 12 noon at Palm Mortuary, 800 South Boulder Highway, Henderson, Nevada 89015
