Every time we saw Maria she always had a huge smile of her face. She was so loving and kind. We miss her and we are so grateful to have met her. She will always have a special place in our heart.❤️

To my beloved family-
Words cannot express the deepest love I have for Maria ( mom). Her laughter would light up a room so fast and it was very contagious. I have a memory that will always be with me and that was our trip to Disneyland! That was the first time my parents where able to meet the Marino family and oh what a fun day that was! She will truly be missed and I love you all so much! 

I love you Abuela, I know you’re in a better place now. I will forever cherish our memories, our experiences and our laughs. I’m so blessed to be able to call you my Abuela.

I got to know Abuela through her grandson Ziles, who is my best friend. I only knew her as Abuela, and she treated me like one of her own, just as she did everyone. Her love and compassion for people never went unnoticed, and I think that’s what made her so special. Although my time knowing her was cut short, I’m thankful for the time and memories that were made. It’s time to go rest high on that mountain. 

 Maria's love for her family shined through her every time we saw her.  Maria was such a fun, kind, loving, caring lady. She always made us feel like family and made us laugh! One of my favorite memories was at a family BBQ. I remember watching Maria watch her daughters dance and laugh together. She looked so happy watching them. It was a beautiful experience that touched my heart. You could see how content she was watching her daughters play and have so much fun. This is how I will always remember Maria. Smiling with Pride and a Heart of GOLD.

Found this picture looking through my phone.  Maria was one of the nicest people you will ever meet.  She was always so happy and so loving.  Just being in a room with her, made the room brighter.   I love you Maria forever!!!  

When I first met Maria I was of course at Johnny Mac’s.  I also met Monica loved seeing both of them have a great time and Monica dancing around the bar!  After that first meeting I always looked for her when I walked into Johnny’s! I finally met her husband they were the perfect couple both laughing and having drinks together!  I loved seeing them together!    It won’t be the same anymore!   She made me laugh and smile when I sat next to her!   R.I.P. my friend love you!  



My heart is broken.  God really does only take the good ones.   Angelo,  Patricia & Monica, my heart aches for all of you.  I have known and loved your entire family since the mid 70's.  You are part of my family.  Maria was a class act and the most caring and loving person you'd ever meet.    She was a wonderful wife, mother and grandmother.  Family was everything to her.   Until we meet again.  Maria, I love you and I will miss you forever!  God speed.  

In 1983 we had the good fortune to move next door to the Marino Family.  It started an enduring friendship.  Throughout the years our families have shared many fun times and some sad times.  This is a very sad time.  Maria was a kind, giving and loving person.  For such a small person she had a lot of fire in her!  Anyone who knew her will surely miss her.  Our hearts go out to broken-hearted Angelo, Patti and Monica, along with their families.  Rest in peace Maria.  We will continue to love Angelo until you two meet again.

One memory isn’t even enough, to remember such an amazing beautiful human ❤️ But I know Maria and Angelo are the only people I would stop tending the bar no matter how busy to come get my hugs hello! Maria and Angelo have been a part of our family memories for over 30 years!  So many fun-filled BBQS at our parents house with Angelo and my dad talking about soccer and Maria and my mom enjoying the kids and loving to cook.  Both families passion for soccer brought us together and the kindness and hospitality kept us together as well. Maria and I shared the same birthday so we had that little extra bond which was nice.  Her smile and laugh were so contagious!  Always happy, always smiling.  Her love for her girls and family was strong and I know that all of them have such wonderful memories and that will keep her alive in their heart and soul.  Maria will never be forgotten.  She was an inspiration to all that had the luck to meet her.  Bless you Maria. And say hi to my mom and dad!  Love you all.  Verena

We have known Maria and her family for as long as they lived next door to Carol and Bob Dachelet on Muchacha.  Maria was the most sweet and kind-hearted woman who we just cherished.  She loved Angelo and her family passionately.  I've attached the last time we saw Maria and Angelo when they were both happy and doing well.  Such fond memories.  Our hearts go out to Angelo, Patricia, Monica and her grandchildren.  Love and healing light be with you all.  She will be deeply missed.
