Maricar Manzanade Bautista

Maricar Manzanade Bautista, who was 50 years of age and lived in Henderson, Nevada, passed away on Thursday, June 5, 2025, at Nathan Adelson Hospice in Las Vegas, Nevada.

Maricar was born on April 3, 1975 in San Jose, Del Monte Bulacan, Philippines. She graduated from NHA high school in 1993, in the Philippines and received her diploma upon graduation. She also attended college for 2 years, studying computer secretarial and receiving her degree as well.

After coming to the United States, she met and married Casey Alben on June 2, 2018. They were married for 7 years and 3 days when she passed away.

Maricar worked as a caregiver at Pacifica and then was promoted to an Assistant Activity Director. Later, she worked at The Monarch as an Assistant Activity Director. She also was a nun for the Catholic Church for 23 years. She joined the sisterhood at 19 until she was 42. She continued to go to church on a regular basis at St. Peter's Catholic Church.

Among her many passions, besides religion, she enjoyed “James Bond” movies, the “Minions”, singing, playing piano and guitar along with art.

She is preceded in death by her father, Jose D. Bautista.

She is survived by her mother, Delia O. Mansanade, her husband, Casey Alben, her wonderful relatives,friends and co-workers

A visitation for Maricar will be held Wednesday, June 25, 2025 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Palm Mortuary - Henderson, 800 South Boulder Highway, Henderson, NV 89015 with the funeral starting at 8:00 PM, 800 South Boulder Highway, Henderson, NV 89015.

Graveside service will occur Thursday, June 26, 2025 at 9:00 AM at Palm Boulder Highway Mortuary & Cemetery, 800 S Boulder Hwy, Henderson, NV 89015.
